On-demand manufacturing in Fashion is impossible. It’s too risky, and we can’t trust digital samples. We hear it every day in fashion companies. And there is no tangible evidence for the opposite. This “impossible” mindset reminds me of the four-minute mile. For decades, experts swore no human could run a mile in under four minutes. They even claimed it was deadly—your heart would explode if you tried! But in 1954, Roger Bannister, a medical student, saw things differently. He studied, and instead of finding limits, he saw possibility. On May 6, he did what everyone said was impossible, running a mile in 3 minutes, 59.4 seconds. And just like that, the barrier was shattered. Within five years, 20 other runners had broken the four-minute mile, too. All they needed was proof it could be done.
